Reading this article this
morning made me really sad. Not because I’m unaware of the threat mankind
represents to planet Earth, but because of the fact that, unless their money is
threatened, people won’t find any reason to act against climate change and
destruction of nature.

And that is just what John Kerry does – in order to show how big
of an issue climate change really is, he had to turn to the universal language
of money: “He said that there was scientific proof of climate change
threatening not only the environment,
but also the world economy.”
And that is what is so sad. Because I cannot
believe that there are still people out there who question the reality of
climate changes. And because I refuse to believe that there are people who
treasure money more than this beautiful, unique, fascinating planet we got lucky
to live on.
I would like to see what good that money brings when we, as human
kind, disappear from Earth. Because we cared only about that one thing that can
buy us many things, but not another home planet.
